In a dreamlike world, humans and cicadas are both sharing the same need. They are desperate to find a lover. Goddess Eos returns to find her lover Tithonus.

A couple of years ago I was asked to provide the music for a short film directed by the talented film maker Antonis Kitsikis. The movie is a surreal take on the Ancient Greek myth of Eos & Tithonus . 'Tettix' is the Greek word for cicada, an animal with a very peculiar life circle. Did you know that some kinds of cicadas live underground for 17 years and they come out to the surface to spend their final 2-3 months of their lives? This year is going to be an outbreak of such a periodical cicada, called brood X, in the US.
